🥦 Ingredients
- 1½ lbs Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes, optional
- ⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese, optional
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
👩🍳 Instructions
- Prep: Trim the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half. Pat them dry.
- Cook: Heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place the Brussels sprouts cut-side down and cook for 5–7 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Add garlic butter: Reduce heat to medium. Add the remaining 2 tbsp butter and minced garlic. Cook for 1–2 minutes, stirring gently, until fragrant.
- Season: Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and red pepper flakes. Toss until the sprouts are well coated.
- Finish: Stir in Parmesan and lemon juice, if using. Cook for another 1–2 minutes.
- Serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot. 🥦🧄🧈
