Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a saucepan, whisk together sugar, flour, and salt. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly over medium heat until thickened.
Remove from heat and stir in eggs slowly, then return to low heat and cook 2–3 minutes more, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and add vanilla and pecans. Pour mixture into the prepared pie crust.
Bake for 30–35 minutes until custard is set and golden on top.
Let cool completely, then garnish with whipped cream and extra pecans before serving.
